We are the wanders and seekers who by necessity of life sometimes get stuck. “Grounded” would be a more positive word. We have souls that want to explore. Our hearts seek beauty. If we could, we would be in a different place every month, absorbing all that each place & culture has to offer. We would sew, paint, build, make. We are dreamers… optimists. We see so many possibilities in the alleys and avenues that it’s hard to settle down. But we have to.
Family, money, time, jobs: the realities of life on this planet can produce roadblocks. That doesn’t mean that these things are bad. Not at all. Even when the giving wanderer may feel buried underneath the debris of everyday life, these roadblocks cause the creative vagabond to find another way, a different path. We have to find ways in the midst of all these things to care for our souls and breathe. And to find hope.
